I know you didn't design the dress, but I must say, I'm also especially glad that the dress is actually white. Some renditions give it a more cream color than actually being white, which gave the implication that Belle may not have been a virgin at her first wedding (The reason the bride's dress is white is because the bride is supposed to still be a virgin at the time of her first wedding).
That being said, you said you did illustrations for various Disney books, including the book this illustration was used in? I must ask you some things: 1. This book the illustration was used in. Was it by any chance the same book that used this illustration of the triplets (two of them, anyways) crushing on Lumiere while Adam was getting Belle's favorite flowers? And 2. I've been hunting a book down for quite some time, it featured Belle and Adam going to the village as a vacation of sorts, and apparently Adam gets swooned by the triplets in a similar manner to the then-recently deceased Gaston during his stay. The only thing I know about the book beyond those details is that it is apparently called Weddings (according to Angie Y. aka Britestarrobot) and that it definitely isn't the same book as the one whose page I linked to above. Can you tell me the full name of the book, or at least the ISBN number so I can have an easier time finding it? I kinda need that book for a project I'm doing, involving the triplets, and I'd appreciate it if I could get the full name of the book or at least the ISBN number.
EDIT: I do have to ask one thing, though. Since the triplets attended Belle's wedding, at least according to Wedding Wishes (even competing for the bouquet), why are they absent in that picture? Or is this just for those actually living at the castle?
It tells several stories of the Disney Princesses and their marriages and other short stories. Your pic is on the last page of "Belles Royal Wedding". ^-^ It's so cute!
Yes it is not exactly identical with the one here in DA. The background is a bit more purple-shaded than blue which adds a bit more brightness and warmth to the picture and the fireworks do have some yellow-gold sparks in them. But aside from that I don't see many differences.
In any case, it is wonderful.
How much time did you spend on it?
Guess what word i'm gonna use for this piece? Gorgeous. Seriously, it's gorgeous!
By the way, I notice Belle has her hair in a ponytail here, but in the previous picture of her and Adam, she had her hair style from when she wore her golden dress. Is that just a little error you made or was it intentional?
I'm not surprised you work for Disney, your work is incredible. I am surprised, however, that I'm actually talking to someone who makes art for them. This whole thing is just...bah. I cannot commend you enough!
