love the perspective on this, watched it the other night was cycling through my movies and decided to watch it and the scene in the movie his books go up for miles then the next shot its just 3 lvls high, shes the best disney princess
Honestly? I was just working as a barrista in a coffee shop and painting in oils on my spare time. I move into a new loft in Los Angeles and invited a new neighbor of mine to come over for some drinks. Turns out she had worked at Disney for 12 years and loved my paintings. She hooked me up with the work shortly after that.
Wow, that´s what I call perspective! I love how "round" this picture looks and the shelf itself is such a nice detail work. I like the colours you choose for the books, they are different but the shades are simliar and it doesn´t looks to crowded or colourful. I often see too that people colour the books too differently and it´s quiet disturbing but you coose nice colours Belle looks beautiful, I like her expressions ♥
They usually give a day that they want to be finished with the image but some of the deadlines can be pushed back a few days if it's necessary. We use a mix of Photoshop and Corel Painter, and yes every illustration is done by computer. It just makes more sense that way. It costs the company less money since it's quicker and much easier to make changes to the artwork that way.
Omg!!!! you're so freaking Amazing!!!!!! I Love your Art this so Fantastic, how does it feel to see your work complete and know that people're buying it? how does it feel to work for Disney? i Absolutely Love your work.
Thanks! It actually really tripped me out for probably the first year or so to be walking around stores like Target or Barnes and Noble and see my stuff out there. It still feels cool, but I'm not as weirded out by it.
